Stress and burnout are closely related with the latter often being the final stage of long-term stress. A feeling of ongoing stress is multifactorial but a workplace that feels toxic certainly could be one of these factors, money worries, relationships and sleep are just some other factors. Both stress and burnout can worsen unless you address the underlying issues causing it. If you ignore the signs, it could cause further harm to your physical and mental health in the future. You could also lose the ability and energy to effectively meet the demands of your job which could have knock-on effects to the other areas of your life. Together we can work on identifying the underlying issues in and around you and in our coaching sessions you learn how to transform some of these issues into drivers for positive change, away from stress and burnout risk.

When made redundant, you might feel anxious, angry, fearful, tearful, a sense of shame or relief. Some people say it’s like being punched and pummeled by some unexpected and invisible force. Even laid back and self contained people can experience emotions that are strange and unsettling and they have no experience of dealing with. My coaching for transforming your communication skills can cover a broad range of areas all required to become an effective communicator. who stands out from his working peers. You are likely already quite well versed in one or the other area whereas in some areas you might or others might see some gaps in other areas. I can help you to become better in any and to become a honed communicator in your organization. In our sessions, we would be working on areas such as active listening, nonverbal communication, managing your own emotions, asking for feedback, presenting as “story telling” and developing useful mental filters. Mastering “politics” at work and effectively dealing with conflict in the workplace are other potential areas coaching can make a huge difference in.
