As I truly identify with the vision “A world where youth are empowered to make informed decisions about their futures. No matter how old you are, no matter where or what you study” of The Advisory, a Singaporean non-profit-organization, I was extremely excited to be part of their 2022 mentorship programme. From June to Dezember, I had the privilege to conduct a series of mentor meetings with Yanesh S, a Life Sciences student, who seized this mentor-mentee relationship to gain a deeper understanding of his strengths and interests and to reflect on possible career options in the complex medical device or pharmaceutical industry, giving him significantly better insights about himself and his career options.
